its been awhile since ive wrote anything, is anyone even on her anymore. it seems like just about everyone has migrated to facebook, its sorta scary everyone from family, friends, co-workers, clients, etc are on facebook. i still like the doogie howser feel with xanga, also like the fact that only a small handful of people see this...

Life:

- Overall good
- Business - sorta good
- Work - sorta good
- Book- started working on it again (see www.punkytown.com/punkytown.pdf for a preview)
- Car- not so good, but got my eye on this beauty, its ok to dream right

VOTE- i dont care who you vote for, just get out and vote (but please do a little research and know what you are voting on and who you are voting for).

If you think your vote doesnt count you should move to Canada, and if you are in a state where you think it doesnt count think twice because it does, its hard not to consider the minority vote when its 51/49, it gets easier to ignore as its skews 75/25...

One idea, one vote, one person can make change, imagine if George Washington said, im just one man, what can i possibly do....

i sent in my vote by mail ballot and for the first time in my short voting life ive voted for a democrat. this country needs change, and lets face it, obama isnt exactly who everyone assumes he is, in fact hes actually more conservative then most americans think (in fact hes against same sex marriage). Obama is a God fearing Christian and an American, if you vote against him because you believe otherwise plz think twice, if you vote against him because of policy or anything else then thats totally cool, but think about it....

p.s think about McCains choice for vp...ehhh (honestly, thats the straw that broke the camels back- prior i was for McCain), minus that GOP all the WAY!!!.

June was a short month. They (btw who is heck is "they"??) say time flys when your enjoying life so while June was a short month it was also a good month. To close the month I stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Beach, rather then describe it check out the view from the room:

June also marked the last month of freedom for my brother. He is getting married on friday (july 4th) and to celebrate his closing days as a single man we went to Ensenada Mexico. Long story short we got a beach house for cheap and chartered a boat for even cheaper.

I just finished watching this 12 min video of a Carnegie Melon professor named Randy Pausch redelivering his "Last Lecture" on Oprah. Its simple message is beautiful and it certainly justifies the 12 mins...

Last night my friend Mike and I hung out with Jack Freaking Bauer (24)! First of all I've been living in LA for sometime now, consequently seeing celebrities (and on some occasions hanging out with them) is not an unfamiliar occurrence (particularly if u work in the ent industry), however when its Jack freaking Bauer thats HUGE!!!! Of course not everyone shares my excitement, they are obviously ignorant to the FACT that (next to chuck norris and lando calrisian) he is the ultimate badass. He's ONLY saved our country and the entire world for that matter from evil, he has also saved the presidents life and preventing CA from being blown to bits, just to name a few humble instances, additionally these were all done with in 24 freaking hours!! If we sent Jack Bauer to the middle east the war would have ended 7 years ago!! if he was the president and the head of the fed we would not be in a recession, in fact he would punch out and shoot the knee caps off of the stock exchange and then we would all be craping gold! im just getting started....

is there some kind of curse on politicians? i'm certain they run for office with the best intentions however i feel that their personal issues are rather unusual, to say that "im just a normal guy that makes normal mistakes just like the next guy" is a bit of an understatement particularly when it comes to infidelity and when that infidelity costs $5K. Eliot Spitzer was made famous for busting prostitution rackets and now he's found just as guilty as those he was prosecuting. Its a new world we live in, but the strange thing is its illegal to solicit sex for money but if you have a camera and exploit it then its legal (in other words, porn), call me old fashion but doesn't that strike you as a bit backwards...

Chasing planes

The term procrastination must exist as a result of the overwhelming number of people that do it. I was thinking about how so often when I travel I find myself chasing planes, fortunately I luck out and usually catch the flight (with the exception of one time in a 3^rd world country). I sometimes think that reflects my experiences with people. So on my way to the office I was thinking about how I would often wait until it was entirely too late to express myself to people so often times I would not express myself at all (or miss the flight and dont go to where i want to go). I recently met someone who I find rather interesting however I feel I should probably reserve my thoughts but perhaps before the flight takes off :)
