confessions of a republican...

i sent in my vote by mail ballot and for the first time in my short voting life ive voted for a democrat. this country needs change, and lets face it, obama isnt exactly who everyone assumes he is, in fact hes actually more conservative then most americans think (in fact hes against same sex marriage). Obama is a God fearing Christian and an American, if you vote against him because you believe otherwise plz think twice, if you vote against him because of policy or anything else then thats totally cool, but think about it....

p.s think about McCains choice for vp...ehhh (honestly, thats the straw that broke the camels back- prior i was for McCain), minus that GOP all the WAY!!!.

Back from the voting booth...
I, also a Republican and former supporter of McCain, voted for Obama.
Many Republicans believe by having the Democrats in power will bring down the values/morals of Americans. Morals and values are being compromised because of the sinful nature of every human being, not because of the Democrats. Abortion may only seem more sinful than white-collar crimes or making healthcare available only to the more privileged... but sin is sin.
If we blame the Democrats for being less moral than the Republicans, then we're simply passing judgment... nobody is righteous. But it is most respectable when Republican core values are lived in daily life through love, joy, peace, patience, kindness goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, without passing judgment unto others. Any other way is reminiscent to the days when you were executed for not proclaiming Jesus as lord.
Would it be wise to appoint a priest to lead an army into battle? That position is best fit for a military general (or Chuck Norris). There is a time for the Democrats and a time for the Republicans, and right now, Obama (regardless of his party) seems best fit to lead America out of it's debacle.
(Pray that I don't have to eat my words)
